Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, meet your professional safari guide and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short Kigali city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets or panoramic views of the city's rolling hills.
After breakfast, depart Kigali for Akagera National Park. Arrive at the lodge for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive through the park's savannah plains.
Start with an early morning game drive in Akagera's northern sector to look for wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a scheduled boat cruise on Lake Ihema for opportunities to see hippos, Nile crocodiles and water birds.
After breakfast, depart for Nyungwe Forest National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through Rwanda's rolling hills, traditional villages and tea plantations before arriving at your lodge near the forest.
Wake early for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe Forest with experienced trackers. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend one hour observing them. In the afternoon, experience the Nyungwe Canopy Walk high above the forest floor.
Depart Nyungwe after breakfast and travel toward Lake Kivu through Rwanda's scenic countryside. Arrive in Gisenyi and check in at Kivu Serena Hotel. In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat cruise with views of the surrounding hills and islands.
After breakfast, depart for Volcanoes National Park along the scenic shores of Lake Kivu. Continue through the northern highlands and arrive in the evening with views of the Virunga Volcanoes.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a ranger briefing and begin the trek through bamboo forests and volcanic slopes in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.
After breakfast, head into Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey tracking. In the afternoon, visit Iby'iwacu Cultural Village for traditional dances, storytelling, local crafts and insights into Rwanda's cultural heritage.
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali. Depending on your departure schedule, visit local craft markets or enjoy lunch in the city before transferring to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight.
Depending on your arrival time, you will be met by your guide or greeted by an employee of your accommodation and taken to the hotel. Boutique Heaven Lodge is approximately 15 minutes from Kigali Airport. Each room has a private terrace with a view of the spacious garden.
Head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a few hours in the car, take an afternoon walk in the village of Buhoma and visit the handicraft markets. Alternatively, visit the Batwa, a native tribe in the middle of the forest.
Get up early for your gorilla tracking. After registration at the Uganda Wildlife Authority Ranger Station and a short briefing, your tracking will start. Rangers will lead you through the dense bush to locate the gorillas. You'll have one hour with the gorillas. Return to the village for the afternoon and enjoy a traditional dance performance by the Batwa.
After breakfast, prepare for your return journey to Kigali where you'll spend another night before flying back home.
After breakfast, start your day with a complimentary city tour. Explore the craft market, the Gisozi Genocide Memorial, and the Kigali Museum. Afterwards, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight home.
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your driver/guide and be transferred to your hotel in Kigali.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting off on a scenic 6½ hour drive to Nyungwe National Park. Your first stop is the National Museum at Butare, offering a fascinating look into Rwanda's cultural heritage. After a leisurely lunch in Butare, continue to Nyungwe.
Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting off for an exciting chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe National Park. Nyungwe is home to around 400 chimpanzees. After your trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a nature walk to the picturesque Kamiranzovu Waterfall.
After breakfast, continue your journey to Gisenyi, Rwanda's largest port on the shores of Lake Kivu. In the afternoon, you have the option to swim in Lake Kivu or enjoy a boat ride to one of the islands. Explore the town at your leisure.
Depart to Ruhengeri with a memorable stop at the Imbabazi Orphanage. Afterward, continue to the Ruhengeri area. In the afternoon, drive to the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo, offering fantastic photo opportunities.
Report for registration at the ranger station by 8 AM. After a briefing, your gorilla trek will start. The rangers will guide you through the fields and into the bamboo forest. Once you have located the gorilla family, you'll spend one hour with them. Tracking can take 3–6 hours.
After breakfast, your driver will collect you for the two-hour drive to Kigali. Depending on the time of your flight, enjoy a complimentary city tour including the craft market, Gisozi Genocide Memorial site and Kigali Museum. Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your driver/guide and be transferred to your hotel in Kigali.

After an early breakfast, head to the National Park headquarters at Kinigi. Following park formalities, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure tracking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them, spend an hour observing these majestic primates up close. The trek can last up to six hours or more at high altitude.
After breakfast, your guide will be waiting to pick you up for the two-hour transfer drive to Kigali International Airport for your flight home.
